Video reveals whether a model can carry the product in time
A still image can be solved in a fraction of a second. A product demo has to remain believable through an entire action such as opening, applying, wearing or explaining. Timing and repeatability become important skills.
Brands should review motion examples when video is central to the brief rather than assuming a strong still portfolio automatically translates to natural performance.
Demonstration and testimonial are not the same
A model can show how a product is used without personally claiming a result they cannot verify. Scripts should distinguish performance from genuine endorsement, especially in beauty, wellness and financial categories.
The best casting is therefore not simply photogenic; it is operationally capable across the content system the brand actually intends to publish.
