Credibility beats generic aspiration
Financial advertising often asks models to represent customers, entrepreneurs, families, professionals or everyday digital users. The casting has to feel plausible enough that the audience recognises the situation without the model looking disconnected from it.
Modern banking and fintech campaigns can still be stylish and visually strong; credibility does not require conservative creative by default.
Performance and exclusivity both matter
A model may need to use a phone naturally, interact with another actor or deliver simple direct-to-camera lines. If video is central, motion examples should be part of casting.
Financial clients may also request competitor restrictions, so the category, territory and duration should be defined narrowly enough that the commercial trade-off is clear.
